A 17-Year-Old Prodigy Takes on a Tricky Veteran: Hikaru Machida vs. Kota Sugimura
Kickboxing rules / 3 minutes x 3 rounds / 70kg Contract | ||
Hikaru Machida (Kickboxing / Japan) | X | Kota Sugimura (Kickboxing / Japan) |
Hikaru Machida (Japan)
I’ve been given the chance to share my “IAI Punch“ with the world. I will approach this with all my heart and soul. I’ve watched videos of Sugimura, and I feel that in terms of youth, size, speed, technique, and power, I have little chance of winning. However, there is one thing I can win with, and that is my ”IAI Punch“. I believe I can change the world with this special move. The time has come to showcase this technique to the world. My opponent is a genius, but I want to survive with my special move.
Kota Sugimura (Japan)
I’m excited to have my debut match at a new event! Thank you! I will become a fighter who represents this event! My opponent, Machida, is a veteran with many titles, and I will take him down to claim everything for myself. I want everyone to remember Kota Sugimura!
