I am happy to return to Japan and Ganryujima my, second home. Sattari is one of the top K-1 fighters, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to face him. As a clash between Ganryujima and K-1, this will surely be an exciting match. Of course, I plan to knock him out. As for my strategy, you’ll just have to wait and see.
Mahmoud Sattari (Iran)
I think it will be interesting to fight under the new Ganryujima rules. This match is a personal challenge and it will motivate me. In a way, this is like MMA. It feels like MMA, and I’m excited to sharpen my skills. I know Lelo is a strong fighter. Capoeira seems like a light and tricky fighting style. It mainly focuses on kicks, but I’m confident in my kicks too, and of course, in my punches. I think it will be an exciting fight.

Marcus “Lelo” Aurelio, the Capoeira master of Ganryujima, is an expert in using Capoeira, a traditional martial art developed by Brazilian slaves, in real combat. His signature moves include a series of spinning kicks, often called a “real-life Hurricane Kick.” In addition, he can unpredictably lift his opponent and slam them out of the ring for a KO, making him a highly unpredictable martial artist.
Mahmoud Sattari

Date of Birth: February 22, 1991 Height: 186 cm Weight: 90 kg
Champion of the 2022 K-1 WORLD GP Open weight Tournament.
Sattari has a long list of accomplishments in amateur Muay Thai and made a shocking debut in 2021 by delivering a one-hit KO to Seiya Tanigawa in Krush. In 2022, he competed in the K-1 Open weight Tournament, defeating K-Jee in the first round, Kyotaro in the semifinals, and Seiya Tanigawa in the finals to claim the championship title.
