ABOUT

Bringing Japan’s Martial Arts Culture to the World!

Half a century ago, nearly 70% of the global professional combat sports market was dominated by Japanese martial arts promoters. The ideas and production formats developed here have become the global standard. In Japan, known as the “Land of Martial Arts,” professional fights aren’t just about being a fan—many people actively practice martial arts as a sport, competitive discipline, and even a way of life.

The JAPAN MARTIAL ARTS EXPO project was created with the goal of showcasing Japan’s martial arts culture worldwide, fostering the global growth of the combat sports industry.

The JAPAN MARTIAL ARTS EXPO is a comprehensive event series, built on three pillars: exhibitions, seminars, and live events. Beginning in Asia in 2025, the EXPO will make its way around the globe. The project aims to unite Japan’s martial arts culture with the sporting industry to once again deliver a “Japanese Style” fight to a global audience!
